What was need to OSI Model?

=> Initially in 1990's every example apple , ibm etc )  who make computer or end devices do have their own hardware and software it means every company has their own set of protocols (  Own way of sending the data and own way of recieving the data ) .

=> Lets assume Apple has their protocols that they will communicate in Hindi and IBM has their own set of protocols that they will communicate in Spaish . So if we connect these two company devices they won't be able to communicate because they have their own diffrent set of protocols and which use diffrent Language 

Now we want that diffrent vendor devices should communicate with each other . To let them communicate a Standard was developed that all computer or end devices will use OSI Model ( Set of Protocols ) for ex. OSI can say all will send and recieve in  english so That diffrent vendors devices can communicate .

Need of OSI : 

= >  To Allow diffrent vendors Devices to interoperate with each other .
