What type of cable is used between a host and switch?

Host and Switch are two different devices. So , you have to connect them by Straight-through cable, which is used to connect different devices.

host and switch both device are different .

and there RJ45 PIN connectivity also different (TX--------RX) . that's why we are using here Straight cable for connectivity .
