JNCIA stands for Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate and CCNA stands for Cisco Certified Network Associate. So both of these certifications belong to different vendors.

Both are entry level certifications for networking jobs.

As Cisco is the market head, CCNA is in more demand.

Hi Soniya,

JNCIA and CCNA both are associate-level certification programs offered by Juniper and Cisco.

If you take JNCIA course training and pass its certification exam then you can advance your training level in 3 tracks,

  • Data Center
  • Enterprise Routing & Switching
  • Service Provider Routing & Switching and
  • Security

But with Cisco CCNA training you get an opportunity to start your career in varied tracks like,

  • Enterprise
  • Data center
  • Collaboration
  • Design
  • Security and
  • Service provider.

The JNCIA exam will cost you upto 200 USD and the CCNA exam start from 300 - 325 USD. These are some of the basic difference between JNCIA and CCNA.

There is a huge demand of Cisco certifications in India and abroad as most of the companies today use Cisco devices whereas, Juniper is comparable new than Cisco.
