What is the Difference between ASpath and MED as both are use to manupulate inbound traffic manipulation.?

The ASPATH attribute is a well known transitive path attribute. So it can travel anywhere. For eg. from one AS to another and then to another AS and more. But the MED attribute can only travel to one AS to another but not more then that.
