Cisco launched CCIE around 23 years back and offered it in Routing & Switching only. CCIE is World's most prestigious, Most demanded and one of the highest paid IT Certifications worldwide. Do you know there are only around 45,000 CCIE Certified engineers in entire world and demand is at-least 10x bigger?

CCIE Engineers are one of the most trusted and respected resources of Networking industry. They say that if no one can solve a Networking problem, it should be escalated to a CCIE engineer. From last 5 years, the demand of CCIE engineers has increased tremendously. Be it a CCIE of Routing & Switching domain or Security or Wireless, demand is always increasing. Can you believe that CCIE was earlier just and just meant for experienced engineers because it is a huge Certification and only Cisco Gold partners used to hire CCIE engineers worldwide because they were very expensive. But now the world is getting connected day by day, with the evolution of Internet engineering, demand of internetworking has increased tremendously. Now even fresher students are doing CCIE Certifications and courses and getting jobs in MNCs at very good salary packages, specially in India, Dubai, Nigeria and South Africa.
