Routed Protocol : These are the protocols which help Routing Protocols to carry their information from one router to another example : ipv4 and ipv6.
Routing Protocols : These Protocols are used to exchange routes dynamically ex. RIP , EIGRP , OSPF etc. These protocols are actually carried by Some of routed protocols.
ex. EIGRP is a Layer - 3 protocol . So it uses IP protocol at layer 3 either version 4 or version 6 depends on ip addressing done.So actually ip is carrying eigrp messaged from one router to another .
