the route that takes effect when no other route is available in a routing table  for an IP destination address.

The default route  syntax 0.0.0.0/0 

default route is  a  gateway last resort

STP is a Layer 2 loop avoid mechanism. like TTL is a layer 3 loop avoid mechanism .

Take a look at the below picture, Ingress LSR and Egress LSR are routers which have customer connections on each side and LSRs in figure are inner MPLS routers. In Normal MPLS operation, IPv4 packet when comes to Egress LSR, will have MPLS Label on the top of IP Header. Egress LSR will do 2 operations and 2 look ups. Hi,  This is because of the privilege level 15 commands , which is by default enable on routers in gns3. line con 0  exec-timeout 0 0  privilege level 15  logging synchronous  stopbits 1   If you want to restrict a router to login into user mode instead of enable mode, you have to run the following commands:- router(config)#line con 0 router(config-line)#no privilege level 15 router(co... Hi,

Host and Switch are two different devices. So , you have to connect them by Straight-through cable, which is used to connect different devices.

it is totally depend upon the enterprise .

means large enterprise network always use a EGP protocol other wise they use a IGP protocol .
