How etherchannel prevents loops?

Ether channel has inbuilt mechanism for preventing loops.They are no more dependent on STP for loop prevention.

Lets say u bundle four links together, sw will only broadcast forward traffic through a single link( in normal cases traffic is forwarded from all the links) and the receiving sw will not flood that traffic back on the links which are member of same bundle.
