valid ip addresses are the usable addresses in a subnet that can be assigned to a network or end device.
for eg. in a network 10.1.1.0/24. 10.1.1.0 is the network address and 10.1.1.255 is the broadcast address that cannot be assigned to an end device . Address range staring from 10.1.1.1 to 10.1.1.254 is the usable address range or valid address range of network 10.1.1.0/24 that we can assign to a network or an end device
